In this scenario, you will use the View System Access Log screen to view and manage the contents of a system access log. The management of system logs includes the viewing, printing, and purging of system logs.

Complete the following steps to perform this scenario:
1. Display the System Administration screen.

NOTE: The System Administration screen displays upon the completion of the Login process. |
2. Double-click View System Access Logs in the System Administration Functions data grid. The View System Access Log screen displays.
3. Under Users, do one of the following:
Select All. All users will be queried during the search.
Select Single User, and then select a user from the drop-down list box. Only the selected user will be queried during the search.
4. Under Date, do one of the following:
Select All. All system log entries will be displayed for the user(s).
Select Range, and then enter or select From and To dates. Only system log entries in the selected range will be queried.
5. Click Apply Filter. Search results are displayed in the System Access Log data grid.
6. Select a system access log in the data grid.
7. Do one of the following:
Select Print. The selected system access log will print to the default printer.
Select Purge. The Purge System Access Log screen displays. Enter or select the Purge all entries in System Access Log previous to date. Click OK. A standard confirmation message displays. Click Yes. All previous system log entries previous to the date entered will be purged.
You can repeat the steps in this scenario, as necessary, to continue managing system access logs. For training purposes, click Close to dismiss the View System Access Log screen and return to the System Administration screen.
