Business Rule: PENDINGRESIDENCYPROOFVALUE
When a user records the residency information for a participant on the Demographics screen they must also indicate what proof of residency the participant supplied by selecting an entry in the Residency Proof drop-down list box. A participant can be certified for a limited time without their proof of residency. In this situation the user can select the "Pending Proof" entry in the Residency Proof drop-down list box.
If the value of the EOD_PROCESSMEMBERADJUSTMENTS business rule equals "Y", the End of Day Command Line Batch Processing module of the SPIRIT WIC system can automatically terminate a participant when their proof of residency has not been recorded within a specific number of days). To identify these participants the End of Day module of the SPIRIT WIC system must find all participants where the "Pending Proof" entry was selected in the Residency Proof drop-down list box. It must look for the key value of that entry instead of the description. See the Member Adjustments/Archives/Purges Service Processing within the BatchProcessor topic for more information.
The business rule enables the state to define the key value (ExternalID) of the "Pending Proof" entry in the Residency Proof drop-down list box.
