Limit Certification with Pending Income Proof

Contents Show

Business Rule: CERTLIMITWITHPENDINGINCOMEPROOF

A participant can be certified for a limited time without their proof of income if a user checks the Pending Proof of Income check box on the Income Calculator screen. Once Pending Proof of Income is documented, a countdown begins for the participant. Until income is documented, a CPA Review message displays indicating proof of income is required when the participant's folder is opened or when the participant is toggled On-site.

If the value of the EOD_PROCESSMEMBERADJUSTMENTS business rule equals "Y", the End of Day Command Line Batch Processing will automatically terminate a participant when their proof of income has not been recorded within a specific, state-defined number of days. See the Member Adjustments/Archives/Purges Service Processing within the BatchProcessor topic for more information.

The business rule enables the state to define the number of days that a participant can be certified without proof of income. After the defined number of days has elapsed the system will automatically terminate the participant.
