Business Rule: CLN_ALLOWDELAYBLOODWORK

In the SPIRIT WIC system, users can record blood work information on the Blood Measurement screen within the Participant Folder and the Certification Guided Script in the Clinic application module. For a variety of reasons, the authorized representative of a household may not have the blood work information for a household member. For these cases, the SPIRIT WIC system allows the state to determine whether the blood work information was delayed by clicking the Delayed Blood Work check box and disabling all other fields on the Blood Measurement screen.

The business rule enables the state to define whether delayed blood work is allowed when entering blood work data.

The Delayed Blood Work check box is visible and enabled on the Blood Measurement screen and the Delayed Blood Work column is visible in the Blood data grid on the Blood screen within the Participant Folder and the Certification Guided Script in the Clinic application module.

Additionally, the Delayed Blood Work check box is visible on the following screens in the following application modules:

  • Blood Measurement (Central Administrative Site)

  • Blood Measurement (State Office)

And, the Delayed Blood Work column is visible in the Blood data grid on the following screens in the following application modules:

  • Blood (Central Administrative Site)

  • Blood (State Office)

The Delayed Blood Work check box is not visible on the Blood Measurement screen and the Delayed Blood Work column is not visible in the Blood data grid on the Blood screen within the Participant Folder and the Certification Guided Script in the Clinic application module.

Additionally, the Delayed Blood Work check box is not visible on the following screens in the following application modules:

  • Blood Measurement (Central Administrative Site)

  • Blood Measurement (State Office)

And, the Delayed Blood Work column is not visible in the Blood data grid on the following screens in the following application modules:

  • Blood (Central Administrative Site)

  • Blood (State Office)
