Business Rule: CERTLIMITWITHDELAYEDBLOODWORK
A participant can be certified for a limited time without their blood work results if a user documents this situation by checking the Delayed Blood Work check box on the Blood Measurement screen. Once delayed blood work is documented, a countdown begins for the participant. Until blood work is documented, a CPA Review message displays indicating blood work is pending when the participant's folder is opened or when the participant is toggled On-site. The End of Day module of the SPIRIT WIC system will automatically terminate a participant when their blood work has not been recorded within a specific, state defined number of days.
The business rule enables the state to define the number of days that a participant can be certified without blood work being documented. After the defined number of days elapse, the system will automatically terminate the participant.
