In this scenario, you will record a routine monitoring visit for a vendor. You will act as if you have visited a vendor location for a routine monitoring and have returned to record your observations.

Complete the following steps to perform this scenario:
1. Display the Vendor List screen.

NOTE: The Vendor List data grid displays vendors as determined by the search criteria applied to the list. Click a vendor record in the data grid to select it. |
2. Search for a vendor's record. (For more detail, see the Searching for a Vendor scenario.)
3. Select the vendor record in the Vendor List data grid.
4. Click the Open Vendor Folder toolbar button (pictured below). The Vendor Folder screen displays for the selected vendor.

5. Click the Event Log tab. The Event Log screen displays.
6. Click Add Event. The Events screen displays.
7. Under Event Type, select Monitoring Visit.
8. Enter or select the Date of Event.
9. Enter the Event Description.
10. Click OK. The Monitoring Visit screen displays.
11. Enter or select the Date of Visit.
12. Select the Visiting Staff Member.
13. Select the Reason(s) for Visit in the list box. You can select more than one reason in the list as necessary.
14. Select at least one of the check boxes in the Area for Monitoring/Training data grid.
15. Enter the name of the Representatives Interviewed.
16. Enter a comment in Comments, if the Comments Below check box was selected for any of the areas observed in the Routine Monitoring Visit data grid.
17. Click OK. The Send Letter screen displays.
18. Select one or more recipients for the letter under Recipient.
19. Select one or more addresses to which to send the letter for each recipient under Address.

20. Click OK. The Event Log tree list is refreshed to display the Routine Monitoring Visit event.
21. Click Close.
