Capture the Subject of a Note

Business Rule: CLN_IncludeNotesSubject

In the SPIRIT WIC system, notes can be recorded on the following screens within the following application modules:

• Manage Notes (Central Administrative Site)

• Manage Notes (Clinic)

• Manage Notes (State Office)

• Notes (Vendor)

• Manage Notes (WIC Outreach Loaner Program)

The business rule allows the state to define whether the Subject drop-down list box is visible and enabled on the Add Breastfeeding Note screen and the Add General Note screen and visible (but disabled) on the Add SOAP Note screen in the Clinic application module, and whether the Subject column should be visible on the Manage Notes screen in the Central Administrative Site, Clinic, and State Office application modules.

When this business rule is enabled, the Subject drop-down list box on the Add SOAP Note screen in the Clinic application module is visible but disabled and the "SOAP" option is automatically selected in the drop-down list box. This value cannot be modified by the user. When this business rule is disabled, neither the Subject drop-down list box nor the Subject column are visible.
