The E-mail Settings menu provides access to functions that are common to the Vendor Setup (E-Mail) mode of the WIC Management Console screen and allows users to maintain e-mail configuration settings used by processes that send letters by e-mail within the Vendor application. Upon successful completion of the Edit function on the menu, the data grid is refreshed when the user is returned the WIC Management Console screen.
The E-mail Settings menu is visible and enabled when:
The WIC Management Console screen is active in Vendor Setup (E-Mail) mode.
It has a mnemonic of "S".
If you do not have sufficient permission to access a menu option on the E-mail Settings menu, a standard error message (E0006) displays when the menu option is selected.
Unless otherwise stated below, all menu options on the E-mail Settings menu are visible and enabled when:
The E-mail Settings menu is active.
If one or more special conditions exist that affect a menu option on the E-mail Settings menu, the condition(s) are documented for that specific menu option below.
Edit menu option
Select this menu option to update information for the record currently selected in the data grid.
It has a mnemonic of "E".
To perform this function, the user must have a minimum access level of "View" to the "E-mail Settings" feature of the "Management Console" feature group.
The E-mail Settings screen displays when the menu option is selected.
A record must already exist to perform the requested function. If a record does not already exist, when the menu option is selected the system displays the E0006 standard error message.
