The Immunizations screen is used to access a client's immunization information. The Immunizations tab allows you to print a Vaccine Coverage Report.

The system verifies if there is a certification in progress. If at least one certification is started and not completed, all controls with the exception of the Print button on the Immunizations tab are locked. Modifying from the Immunizations tab is not allowed until the Certification has been completed. This applies if a record exists for the selected STATEWICID in the CERTCONTACT table and the CERTCONTACT.CERTENDDATE and CERTCONTACT.CERTINELIGIBLEDATE are not valued.

Screen Access

Display the Participant Folder screen for a client > Click the Immunization tab.

Interface Initialization

Upon initial display of the screen, the following occurs:

The title bar text is set to "[MEMBER.FIRSTNAME MEMBER.MIDDLEINITIAL MEMBER.LASTNAME] - {descriptive value of age} - WIC ID: [MEMBER.STATEWICID] Household ID: [MEMBER.HOUSEHOLDID]", where {descriptive value of age} equals:

For infants, display "XX" Months "XX" Days, calculated from the Date of Birth.

For children, display "XX" Year(s) "XX" Months "XX" Days calculated from the Date of Birth.
For pregnant women, display "XX" weeks gestation calculated from the LMP start date.
For pregnant women without an LMP date, display "XX" Year(s) calculated from the Date of Birth.
For breastfeeding and non-breastfeeding women, display "XX" Years calculated from the Date of Birth.

The tab title is set to "Immunizations".

The Immunizations data grid is visible, enabled, and the Series column displays all values currently defined in the SERIESID column of the IMMUNIZATIONSERIES database table. The remaining columns in the data grid are filled with all immunization records in the IMMUNIZATIONDOSE table for the selected STATEWICID and for each immunization and dose if records exist. If no immunization or dose records exist for the current participant, the Dose columns are blank.

The first row in the data grid is initially selected as the default.

The Add Appointment button is visible and disabled.

The Print button is visible and enabled as the default.

The Add button is visible and disabled.

The Edit button is visible and disabled.

The Delete button is visible and disabled.

The current system date and time is displayed in the status bar at the bottom right of the screen.

Screen Elements

Unless otherwise stated below, all controls on the Immunizations screen are visible and enabled when:

The screen is active.

If one or more special conditions exist that affect a control on the Immunizations screen, the condition(s) are documented for that specific control below.

Immunization Status drop-down list box

View the client's immunization status as recorded during certification in the Immunization Status drop-down list box.

Immunizations data grid

View the information in the Immunizations data grid.

This data grid displays all immunizations recorded for the client. Click an immunization record in this data grid to select it. There will also be an asterisk "*" in the cell if the immunization was done on-site. Columns will be added for each dose given in a series.

The data grid consists of the following control(s):

Series column

This column displays the vaccine series for each record displayed within the data grid.

The title of the column is set to "Series". The information displayed within the column is read-only.
