The Document Imaging menu provides access to functions that apply to document imaging.
The Document Imaging menu is visible and enabled when:
The Participant Folder screen is active.
It has a mnemonic of "D".
If you do not have sufficient permission to access a menu option on the Document Imaging menu, a standard error message (E0006) displays when the menu option is selected.
Unless otherwise stated below, all menu options on the Document Imaging menu are visible and enabled when:
The Document Imaging menu is active.
If one or more special conditions exist that affect a menu option on the Document Imaging menu, the condition(s) are documented for that specific menu option below.
Scan a Document menu option
This menu option is always disabled.
View Scanned Document menu option
Select this menu option to view documents that have been scanned into the system.
It has a mnemonic of "V".
When the menu option is selected, a check is performed to determine whether the logged-on user has the appropriate permissions to access the screen or perform the action. When the user does not have the appropriate permissions, a standard error message (E0006) displays.
If no documents have been scanned for the participant, the system displays the E0029 standard error message.
The Scanned Documents screen displays when selected if the user has the appropriate permissions.
Scanned documents are not checked out from the central web server to the remote machine upon data sync. Thus, users will not be able to view scanned documents while offline; however, images previously scanned on the same remote machine are not removed at check in. Users will be able to view a copy of those previously scanned images.
