Spin Control

The spin control is a masked edit box with up and down arrows used to choose from a continuous range of fixed values. Users can type or select a value in the spin control.

View, enter, update, or select the value in the spin control. Selection of the up and down arrows of the spin control increases or decreases the value by 1. The masked edit box allows users to type a valid value directly in the spin control. The control allows entry of numeric characters only. Alphabetic and special characters are not allowed. The maximum number of characters allowed (mask) varies by control. Instances in which the mask varies are documented in the description of the specific control.
