Reported Issues

DFDD-78

Appendix

Risk Factors

Issue: Risk Factor 131 in the DFDD currently states that it compares the pre-pregnancy weight when system-assigning the risk factor.

Resolution: The DFDD has been updated to indicate that Risk Factor 131 is assigned by comparing the two most recent weights taken in the 2nd and/or 3rd trimester.

DFDD-97

DFDD

Footer

Issue: The short version number footer was not displaying on every topic in the DFDD.

Resolution: The short version number footer has been added to every topic in the DFDD. It is not present on the release note topics.

DFDD-118

Appendix

Risk Factors

Issue: The DFDD currently states that the system classifies participants as High Risk if both Risk Factor 101 and Risk Factor 371 have been assigned to a participant. This functionality was modified with Change Order 156.

Resolution: The following statement has been removed from the DFDD: "The system will classify the participant as High Risk if both 101 and 371 have been assigned to the participant."

DFDD-121

Appendix

Risk Factors and Business Rules

Issue: The USETWOMOSTRECENTMESUREMENTSRF133P business rule information in the DFDD is inconsistent with the information provided for Risk Factor 133.

Resolution: The DFDD has been updated so the USETWOMOSTRECENTMESUREMENTSRF133P business rule information matches the information provided for Risk Factor 133.

MN-132

State Office

Infant 3rd Month Life BF-Ever-Now File CLN032 (Output)

Issue: The information on Infant 3rd Month Life BF-Ever-Now File CLN032 (Output) does not match the information on the Summary Statistics Report - Breastfeeding CLN032 (Output). This is a Minnesota only report.

Resolution: The two outputs have been modified so the information matches correctly.

The lower date range has been modified to include the current date ("< TwoMonthsDate" was changed to "<= TwoMonthsDate").

The WICSTATUS was changed to retrieve both "I" and "C".

The calculation was corrected to retrieve the end date correctly for months with 31 days.

SUG-666

Clinic

Health Information

Issue: An object reference error is received when the Health Information link is clicked on the Certification Guided Script screen. Another object reference error is received for the same participant when clicking the Health Information tab in the Participant Folder. It is caused by the participant's postpartum information missing.

Resolution: The code has been modified to correct the object reference error when the participant's postpartum information is missing. When the postpartum information is missing, the code now correctly handles the missing information when clicking the Health Information tab.

SUG-777

Clinic

Participant Folder

Issue: When clicking the Issue Benefits toolbar button on the Participant Folder, the following standard error message is received: "Method not found: 'Void WIC.Windows.FoodInstruments.frm ChecksIssuance.set_GeneratedNotice4MomOfInfants 4IssueBenefits(Boolean)'."

Some files were not being installed to the correct location during the SPIRIT application's installation. It was determined that moving the MTM001.doc, MTM002.doc, msvcp71.dll, and msvcr71.dll files to different folders corrected the issue.

Resolution: The MTM001.doc and MTM002.doc were being installed to the wrong location during the client setup. The installation was modified to ensure those files are installed to the Templates folder during setup.

The msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll are not part of the client setup and there is no way to control their installation location.

SUG-1169

Clinic

Participant List

Issue: When two Participant Folders are opened while the Participant List screen is displayed, the "X" button in the upper-right corner of the screen was used to close one of the Participant Folders. Then the "X" button is used to close the Participant List screen. The Exit Clinic Application toolbar button is clicked to close the last Participant Folder that is displayed. A standard error message displays with the text, "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it {IP address}."

Resolution: The code has been modified to correct the port settings. The issue was a result of the system using the wrong port to communicate with the database.

SUG-1308

State Office

Summary Statistics Report - Breastfeeding CLN032 (Output)

Issue: Section 3-When Breastfeeding Stopped was removed from the Summary Statistics Report - Breastfeeding CLN032 (Output). This is a Minnesota only report.

Resolution: Section 3 - When Breastfeeding Stopped has been added back to the report. Additionally, some issues were discovered with totals not calculating correctly, and those have been corrected.

Additional changes were made to correct MN-132. The lower date range has been modified to include the current date ("< TwoMonthsDate" was changed to "<= TwoMonthsDate").

The WICSTATUS was changed to retrieve both "I" and "C".

The calculation was corrected to retrieve the end date correctly for months with 31 days.

SUG-1318

Clinic

Participant Folder

Issue: When a household risk factor is recorded for the household on the Select Risk Factors screen and household income is added on the Income Calculator screen, the INCOMECONTACT.CERTSTARTDATE does not always update correctly. When the expected result was NULL, for example, the INCOMECONTACT.CERTSTARTDATE updated to a previous date for the participant. Additionally, when the expected result was for the value not to change, the INCOMECONTACT.CERTSTARTDATE changed from NULL to a previous date for the participant.

Resolution: The code has been modified to retrieve the correct certification record. A wrong household certification was being selected to update the INCOMECONTACT.

SUG-1399

Vendor

Fruits and Vegetables Check Redemption Analysis by Vendor VND063 (Output)

Issue: For some vendors, the County is not printing on all pages of the Fruits and Vegetables Check Redemption Analysis by Vendor VND063 (Output) report.

Resolution: The code has been changed to add correct page breaks in the crystal report so that County displays correctly on all report pages.

SUG-1420

Clinic

Certification WIC Category

Issue: An incomplete certification cannot be removed after the WIC category has been changed from Infant to Child.

Resolution: The code has been modified to remove incomplete certifications regardless of the participant's WIC category.

SUG-1421

Clinic

VOC Certification

Issue: The system allows the certification of a pregnant woman using the VOC Certification screen even though her expected due date is more than 6 weeks past her certification end date.

Resolution: The code has been modified to correctly validate the dates so that the VOC Certification screen works like the Certification Guided Script screen.

SUG-1436

Clinic

Referrals and Other Programs

Issue: On the Referrals and Other Programs screen, the list items in the Available list box appear to be displayed in a random order. They are in tree level order because it is listing all of the Agencies first then the state level organization. However, those are not displayed in alphabetical order within the tree level order.

Resolution: The code has been modified to sort the Available list box by their name in alphabetical order. The Selected list box has also been changed to display in alphabetical order.

SUG-1447

Clinic

Height/Weight and Blood

Issue: The Add button was disabled on the Blood screen and the Height/Weight screen when certifying a patient.

Resolution: The Add button was looking at the CreateDate to determine if it should be enabled. The code has been modified so the Add button is enabled based on MeasurementDate and ResultDate.

SUG-1469

Reference Utility

Food Item Wizard (1 of 3)

Issue: On the Food Item Wizard (1 of 3) screen, the Has Rebate Contract check box is checked and the Next button is clicked. The standard error messages displays for required information, and the changes are made and the Has Rebate Contract check box is unchecked. When the Next button is clicked, an unhandled exception error displays.

Resolution: There was an unhandled exception in the event handler. The code was modified to add exception handling to 6 events on the Food Item Wizard (1 of 3) screen.

Additionally, the uncheck code was assuming the existence of MFOODITEMINFO and also that MFOODITEMINFO would have a FOODITEM. This could lead to an object reference error. The code was modified to add a check to both MFOODITEMINFO and FOODITEM to verify they are empty.

SUG-1474

Clinic

Schedule Appointments for Household

Issue: On the Schedule Appointments for Household screen, when a different clinic is selected from the Clinic drop-down list box, the printed appointment notice does not print the address, city, ZIP code, and telephone number of the clinic selected from the drop-down list box. It should print the information for the clinic where the appointment is scheduled to take place.

Resolution: The code has been modified to ensure the address, city, ZIP code, and telephone number for the clinic selected from the Clinic drop-down list box matches the clinic information on the printed appointment notice.

SUG-1478

Clinic

View Appointments for Date

Issue: When clicking and dragging the scroll bar for the View Appointments for Date Month Calendar on the View Appointments for Date screen, the months may display out of order. For example, February 2011 may display before January 2011.

Resolution: The code has been modified so that the months are always displayed in the correct sequence.

SUG-1492

Clinic

Health Information

Issue: When the Health Information screen is processed in either the Participant Folder or during Certification Guided Script, the orange halos for missing information display on top of calendar controls when the control is expanded to display the month.

Resolution: The code has been modified so that the halo color does not display on top of the calendar control when it is clicked.

SUG-1502

System Administration

Organizations

Issue: On the Organizations screen, an organization can be deleted even though a participant has been referred to it.

Resolution: The error was caused by the Translator not being able to convert the valid XML response to a boolean variable. The code has been modified to allow only the deletion of organizations that no participant was referred to.

SUG-1512

Scheduled Job Administration

WIC End of Day Administration

Issue: When trying to view the End of Day log file on the WIC End of Day Administration screen, a standard error message displays stating that NULL values are not allowed in a column.

Resolution: The code has been modified to allow the system to handle NULL values.

SUG-1520

Clinic

Certification Guided Script

Issue: During a Certification Guided Script, when the Cancel button is clicked on the Assign Certification Risk Factors screen, new list items added to the Selected list box are saved, but they do not display in the Risk Factor data grid. When the Assign Certification Risk Factors screen is accessed again, the list items remain in the Selected list box. When the Cancel button is clicked, no changes to the screen should be saved.

Resolution: The code was passing the RiskFactors collection by reference. The code has been modified to add a copy method to RiskFactors BOC to do the translation so that it loses the reference.

SUG-1527

Clinic

Health Information

Issue: An infant is certified using the VOC Certification screen, and then the Amount Breastfeeding drop-down list box is set to any amount on the Child Health Information screen of the Participant Folder. When a new tab is selected, a standard error message displays with the text, "Conversion from string "" to type "Decimal" is not valid."

Resolution: The error was caused by the variable format changing between methods. The code has been modified to correct the error by assigning default values when it is NULL.

SUG-1542

Clinic

Certification Guided Script toolbar

Issue: The following toolbar buttons on the Certification Guided Script toolbar are not displaying tool tip text:

  • Participant Search

  • Manage Waiting List

  • System Outputs

  • System Tools

  • Exit

Resolution: The code has been modified to correctly display the tool tip text for the toolbar buttons.

SUG-1559

Clinic

Demographics

Issue: On the Demographics screen of the Participant Folder or during a Certification Guided Script, selecting the blank option in the Clinic Assigned drop-down list box produces a server error.

Resolution: The code has been modified to remove the blank option from the Clinic Assigned drop-down list box.

SUG-1561

Clinic

Demographics

Issue: On the Demographics screen of the Participant Folder, a partial entry is allowed in the Social Security Number masked edit box and the data can be saved.

Resolution: The code has been modified to properly validate the Social Security Number masked edit box to prevent partial entries.

SUG-1577

Clinic

Issue: During a Certification Guided Script on the Demographics screen, the Health Information screen, and the Referrals and Other Programs screen, the shortcut key of Enter does not function as per the DFDD for the OK button.

Resolution: The code has been modified to fix the Enter key functionality for the OK button.

SUG-1584

Clinic

View Appointments for Date

Issue: On the View Appointments for Date screen, the Resource drop-down list box is not populated with all available resources for that agency. There are resources that have appointments for the selected day, but the resource is not available for selection in the Resource drop-down list box.

Resolution: The Resource drop-down list box was being populated from the wrong table. The code has been modified to displays Resources from the APPOINTMENTRESOURCE table.

SUG-1587

Clinic

Certification Guided Script

Issue: When changing a participant's WIC category during Certification Guided Script from breastfeeding to non-breastfeeding or non-breastfeeding to breastfeeding, the system does not automatically remove the certification and it does not update it correctly. Various outcomes were possible from this issue, such as some participants can receive their benefits and others cannot. Risk factors were also not always assigned after the WIC category was changed.

Resolution: The issue is caused by the Member WIC Status updating but the Certification.WICStatus was not updating on the Participant Object. The code has been modified to save the Certification WIC Status if the WIC Status is changed during Certification Guided Script.

SUG-1595

Clinic

Demographics

Issue: When changing a participant's WIC category on the Demographics screen of the Participant Folder from breastfeeding to non-breastfeeding, a standard information message is to display with the text, "The infant formula prescription should be reassessed by the CPA." This standard information message does not display.

Resolution: The code has been modified to correct this issue. When the WIC category is changed from breastfeeding to non-breastfeeding, the system now checks to see if there are postpartum infants linked to the participant. If there is an infant linked, the system displays the standard information message.

SUG-1599

Clinic

Manage Notes

Issue: The notes are not displayed in order initially when the Manage Notes screen is displayed. The notes can be ordered by clicking on the column headings of the data grid.

Resolution: The code has been modified so the Notes for Household Member data grid is sorted correctly including sorting correctly by the date created and the timestamp.

SUG-1607

Clinic

Benefit Details

Issue: A standard error message was received when trying to view the Benefit Details screen. The standard error message displayed the text, "The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)."

Resolution: The msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll files were not installed to the correct location. They were installed in the WIC folder and not in the WIC\bin folder.

Those files are being replaced with msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll, and they will be installed to the WIC\bin folder during setup.

SUG-1636

Reference Utility

Default Food Package/Default Food Package Item

Issue: When clicking the Preview button on the Default Food Package/Default Food Package Item screen, an object reference error and an unhandled exception are received. After closing the errors, the Update Local Reference Data option was selected from the WIC Session Manager. A standard error message was displayed with the text, "LocalReferenceData::GetUpdate() - MapViewOfFile failed: Access is denied." The standard error message cannot be closed.

Resolution:The code has been modified to remove the standard error message received when a specific food item or food item quantity is not found in the XML file. Now the code retrieves the data from the web service if the specific food item is not found locally. The FoodPrescriptionUtils class was modified to correct this issue.

SUG-1703

Clinic

Certification Guided Script

Issue: When doing a certification for either a breastfeeding participant or a non-breastfeeding participant, when the Cancel button is clicked on the Nutrition Assessment Contact screen, the Nutrition Assessment link is checked on the Certification Guided Script screen. No changes were made and no information was added, so the Nutrition Assessment link is expected to remain unchecked.

Resolution: The code has been modified to check if a nutrition assessment contact was entered during certification. If no nutrition assessment contact was added, the system will uncheck the Nutrition Assessment link.
