Risk Factors |
When
a woman who was previously certified as non-breastfeeding or breastfeeding
was being certified as pregnant and currently breastfeeding an
infant during a new certification, risk factor 332Z was improperly
assigned for the new certification. |
Each time a new certification begins, the
SPIRIT
WIC system should remove all system-assigned risk factors to allow
the proper assignment of risk factors based on the participant's
WIC category at the time of certification. However, the code was
not removing risk factor 332Z, which allowed risk factor 332Z
to be assigned for the new certification.
The SPIRIT
WIC system was modified to remove risk factor 332Z while removing
all system-assigned risk factors for a new certification. As a
result, the SPIRIT
WIC system no longer system-assigns risk factor 332Z for a new
certification. |
