Vendor Events data grid

View the information in the Vendor Events data grid.

Click an item in this data grid to select it. This data grid lists all events filtered for the vendor as indicated by the sub-tab selected. It can be sorted by clicking the column headings.

The data grid is filled with all existing events and follow-up activities for the vendor, filtered into manageable categories by the sub-tab selected. The events and follow-up activities display in chronological order from newest to oldest. The data values in the data grid are read-only. The system checks the permissions of the currently logged in user to determine which events and follow-up activities the user has permission to access or process.

The data grid consists of the following control(s):

Date column

This column displays the date on which the record was recorded for each record displayed within the data grid.

The title of the column is set to "Date". The information displayed within the column is read-only.

Description column

This column displays the description of each record displayed within the data grid.

The title of the column is set to "Description". The information displayed within the column is read-only. The column header and the data within the column are left aligned.

Comments column

This column displays the event or follow-up activity's comments for each record displayed within the data grid.

The title of the column is set to "Comments". The information displayed within the column is read-only. This column is only included if comments can be added to the event or follow-up activity.

The Vendor Events data grid has the total active sanction points that are associated with all the events and follow-up activities. The parent event will display the total of all the active sanction points. Events or follow-up activities that have associated Violation Found follow-up activities displays the total of all the active sanction points associated with them. The violations have dates on which the sanction points are no longer applied to the vendor. Once the expiration date of the violation has passed, the sanction points no longer appear on the Event data grid or are added to the total sanction points.

Details button

Click the Details button to display the details of an item selected in the Sanctions sub-tab.

The screen associated with the event or follow-up activity displays when the button is clicked.

If the user does not have the appropriate permissions to view the event or follow-up activity selected, the system displays the E0006 standard error message. The system returns the user to the screen without allowing the user to view the event details.

If the currently logged in user does have the rights to view the selected event or follow-up activity selected in the Event Log sub-tab, the system displays the screen(s) associated with the node to show more details about the item.

The displayed screen is in a read-only mode; the user is only able to view the information on the screen. When the screen is in read-only mode, a Close button replaces the Cancel button that was available on the edit mode version of the screen. The Close button dismisses the screen and return the user to the Sanctions screen.

When a Signature Page Returned follow-up activity is selected and the Details button is clicked, the system displays the I0035 standard information message. This occurs only when no contract event is recorded.

Events and follow-up activities that record information and then generate a letter have an associated screen to show more details about the item. A Print button is available on the associated screen to reprint a copy of the letter that was generated when the event or follow-up activity was originally recorded in the Vendor application.
