The Edit Owner/Partner screen is used to manage an owner or partner record. This screen is applicable when one or more individuals own the vendor versus a corporation.

To edit sole ownership or partnership owner information:

  • Display the Page1 (Demographics) screen for a sole ownership or a partnership > In the Owner group box, click the Edit button.

Interface Initialization

Upon initial display of the screen, the following occurs:

  • All data controls are enabled and display the previously saved values.

  • The Vendor ID value label displays the vendor ID of the selected vendor.

  • The Vendor Name value label displays the name of the selected vendor.

  • The OK button is visible and enabled as the default.

  • The Cancel button is visible and enabled as the default.

Vendor ID text and value label

  View the vendor ID of the selected vendor in the Vendor ID text and value label.

It is used for identification and reference purposes only. The value comes from the VendorID column of the Vendor table.

Information in this control is read-only and cannot be changed. The value label displays in the inverse color of the screen.

Vendor Name text and value label

  View the trade name of the selected vendor in the Vendor Name text and value label.

It is used for identification and reference purposes only. The value comes from the TradeName column of the Vendor table.

Information in this control is read-only and cannot be changed. The value label displays in the inverse color of the screen.

Salutation drop-down list box

  Select the salutation (For example, Mr., Mrs., Miss, Ms., Dr., and so on.) in the Salutation drop-down list box.

The list is populated with data from the Description column of the Reference Dictionary table where the category column value equals "Salutation".

First Name text box

  Enter the first name in the First Name text box.

The text box allows the entry of alphabetic and special characters. Numeric characters are not allowed. Special characters are limited to the following: period (.), hyphen (-), apostrophe ('), and comma (,). The maximum number of characters that can be entered in the text box is twenty (20) characters.

MI text box

  Enter the middle initial in the MI text box.

The text box allows the entry of alphabetic characters. Numeric and special characters are not allowed. The maximum number of characters that can be entered in the text box is one (1) characters.

Last Name text box

  Enter the last name in the Last Name text box.

The text box allows the entry of alphabetic and special characters. Numeric characters are not allowed. Special characters are limited to the following: period (.), hyphen (-), apostrophe ('), and comma (,). The maximum size of the text box is twenty-five (25) characters.

Social Security Number masked edit box

  Enter the participant's Social Security Number in the Social Security Number masked edit box.

The masked edit box allows the entry of numeric characters only. Alphabetic and special characters are not allowed. The mask for the masked edit box is "###-##-####" to allow the entry of a nine-character Social Security Number. A partial entry is not allowed. If any part of the Social Security Number is entered, a complete nine-character Social Security Number is required. The maximum number of characters that can be entered in the masked edit box is nine (9) characters.

Telephone masked edit box

  Enter the complete ten-character telephone number in the Telephone masked edit box.

The masked edit box allows the entry of numeric characters only. Alphabetic and special characters are not allowed. The mask for the masked edit box is "###-###-####" to allow the entry of a three-character area code and seven-character telephone number. A partial entry is not allowed. If any part of the telephone number is entered, a complete ten-character telephone number is required. The maximum number of characters that can be entered in the masked edit box is ten (10) characters.

Cell Phone masked edit box

  Enter the complete ten-character telephone number in the Cell Phone masked edit box.

The masked edit box allows the entry of numeric characters only. Alphabetic and special characters are not allowed. The mask for the masked edit box is "###-###-####" to allow the entry of a three-character area code and seven-character telephone number. A partial entry is not allowed. If any part of the telephone number is entered, a complete ten-character telephone number is required. The maximum number of characters that can be entered in the masked edit box is ten (10) characters.

Fax masked edit box

  Enter the complete ten-character fax number in the Fax masked edit box.

The masked edit box allows the entry of numeric characters only. Alphabetic and special characters are not allowed. The mask for the masked edit box is "###-###-####" to allow the entry of a three-character area code and seven-character telephone number. A partial entry is not allowed. If any part of the Fax is entered, a complete ten-character Fax is required. The maximum number of characters that can be entered in the masked edit box is ten (10) characters.

E-mail text box

  Enter the e-mail address in the E-mail text box.

The text box allows the entry of alphabetic, numeric, and special characters. Only one at sign (@) is allowed. Any character can be entered before the at sign (@). After the at sign (@), the domain name is limited to alphabetic, numeric, and special characters. Special characters are limited to the following: hyphen (-) and period (.). The maximum number of characters that can be entered in the text box is one-hundred (100) characters. An e-mail address is considered valid when it includes at least once character before the at sign (@), and at least one character after the at sign (@) followed by a period and two (2) to four (4) alphabetic characters.

Date of Birth calendar control

  Select or enter the date on which the person was born in the Date of Birth calendar control.

Number of Non-WIC Stores Owned masked edit box

  Enter the number of non-WIC stores currently owned by the owner in the Number of Non-WIC Stores Owned masked edit box.

The masked edit box allows the entry of numeric characters only. Alphabetic and special characters are not allowed. The mask for the masked edit box is "#,###". The maximum number of characters that can be entered in the masked edit box is four (4) characters.

Number of WIC Stores Owned masked edit box

  Enter the number of non-WIC stores currently owned by the owner in the Number of WIC Stores Owned masked edit box.

The masked edit box allows the entry of numeric characters only. Alphabetic and special characters are not allowed. The mask for the masked edit box is "#,###". The maximum number of characters that can be entered in the masked edit box is four (4) characters.

Addresses editable data grid

  View or update the information in the Addresses editable data grid.

This editable data grid contains each address that has been recorded. The title text of the editable data grid is set to "Addresses". The editable data grid contains a row for each address record that currently exists within the database and is associated with the current record.

The data grid consists of the following control(s):

Edit column

This column contains a button for each record displayed within the editable data grid. Click this button to edit the record currently selected in the editable data grid.

It does not have a mnemonic.

The Address screen displays when the button is clicked.

Type column

This column displays the the alert type of "Household" or "Individual" for each record displayed within the data grid.

The title of the column is set to "Type". The information displayed within the column is read-only.

Address 1 column

This column displays the first line of the address for each record displayed within the data grid. This is the primary street address information.

The title of the column is set to "Address 1". The information displayed within the column is read-only.

Address 2 column

This column displays the second line of the address for each record displayed within the data grid. This is any additional street address information (such as a suite number, an apartment number, etc.).

The title of the column is set to "Address 2". The information displayed within the column is read-only.

City column

This column displays the name of the city for each record displayed within the data grid.

The title of the column is set to "City". The information displayed within the column is read-only.

State column

This column displays the two-character state abbreviation for each record displayed within the data grid.

The title of the column is set to "State". The information displayed within the column is read-only.

ZIP column

This column displays the five- or nine-character code for the postal zone for each record displayed within the data grid. The value is displayed in "#####-####" format.

The title of the column is set to "ZIP". The information displayed within the column is read-only.

OK button

  Click the OK button to process the screen.

It is the default button for the screen, unless otherwise noted.

It does not have a mnemonic. Its keyboard shortcut is the Enter key.

The Page1 (Demographics) screen displays when the button is clicked.

Cancel button

Click the Cancel button to close the screen without processing or saving data.

It does not have a mnemonic. Its keyboard shortcut is the Esc (escape) key.

Data Map

The Data Map defines the values saved for all controls on the screen. If available, any additional notes or comments are displayed in the Notes column.
