Food Instrument Redemption Report OPR027 (Output)

The Food Instrument Redemption Report OPR027 (Output) tracks food instruments that are issued and redeemed each month, and displays the rate of redemption changes over time. The report is generated when the OK button is clicked on the Generate Food Instrument Redemption Report screen. The amount of information on the report will depend on the options selected on that screen.

Data Elements

This section describes the data elements that print on the system output. Because of space constraints, the layout may be slightly different and/or all characters may not print within the space allotted.

Month of

Origin of Data Element

The user records this value when the report is submitted.

Format

This is an accounting month and year formatted as Month Name CCYY.

Clinic / Agency / State Total

Origin of Data Element

The selection criteria and information being reported determine this value.

Format

This is a fifty-character text value. The format is determined by the information being reported.

FITYPE

Origin of Data Element

The food instrument type value is the code associated with the combination of distribution items and quantities on the food instrument. This value comes from the FoodInstrumentType column of the selected FoodInstrument table records.

Format

This is a five-character value.

Number Issued

Origin of Data Element

This value is the count of selected food instruments, grouped by the FoodInstrumentType column of the FoodInstrument table for the reported month.

Format

The value is a six-digit number.

Percent Issued

Origin of Data Element

This value is calculated by dividing the number issued (line total) by the total issued for this report. The result is multiplied by 100 and rounded to the nearest hundredth. If clinic data is being reported, the clinic total is used as the divisor. If agency data is being reported, the clinic total is used as the divisor. If agency data is being reported, the agency total is used as the divisor. If state totals are being reported, the state total is used as the divisor.

The value is a three-digit number plus two decimal places.

Number Redeemed

Origin of Data Element

This value is the count of selected food instruments where the PaidDate column of the FoodInstrument table is not null. Data is grouped by the FoodInstrumentType column of the FoodInstrument table for the reported month.

Format

The value is a six-digit number.

Percent Redeemed

Origin of Data Element

This value is calculated by dividing the number redeemed (line total) by the total redeemed for this report. The result is multiplied by 100 and rounded to the nearest hundredth. If clinic data is being reported, the clinic total redeemed is used as the divisor. If agency data is being reported, the agency total redeemed is used as the divisor. If state totals are being reported, the state total redeemed is used as the divisor.

The value is a three-digit number plus two decimal places.

Amount Redeemed

Origin of Data Element

This value is the sum of the PaidAmt column of selected food instruments where the PaidDate column of the FoodInstrument table is not null. Data is grouped by the FoodInstrumentType column of the FoodInstrument table for the reported month.

Format

The value is an eight-digit number plus two decimal places.

Percent Issued/Redeemed

Origin of Data Element

This value is calculated by dividing the number redeemed (line total) by the number issued (line total). The result is multiplied by 100 and rounded to the nearest hundredth.

Format

The value is a three-digit number plus two decimal places.

Filter Criteria

Base of Data

All food instruments issued for the reported month are included in the report totals. Data for hidden agencies will not be included. Paid without issuance data will not be included. This report is grouped by WIC Category and FI Type, neither of which is available for paid without issuance data. Food instrument records that meet the following selection criteria are included.

Clinic, Agency, State

If an individual clinic is selected, only data for that clinic will be included. If an individual agency is selected, summary data for that agency will be included. If the state is selected, summary data for the state level will be included. Data for hidden agencies will not be included.

Category

If the option for '(all)' categories value is selected, data for each category will be selected and listed separately.

If an individual category is selected, participants will be selected if the WICStatus column of the FoodInstrumentSet table equals the selected category.

Sort Order

Category

If more than one category is selected, the report will be sorted by category code.

FI Type

The report will be sorted by food instrument type, regardless of the other report selection criteria.

Control Breaks

WIC Category

On a change of WIC category a page break will occur. WIC Category totals are not defined for this report.

Priority

On a change of priority a page break will occur.

Grand Total

No grand totals are defined for this system output.

Frequency and Distribution

This system output is generated on demand.

The data is current as of the date of run.
