The Food Instruments Redeemed Late Report FIN006 (Output) includes all food instruments redeemed in the requested month that were also redeemed after the end of their issuance month. The report does not include paid without issuance (skeleton checks). The issuance month is normally the same month as first-use-date. Food instruments with first-use-date of 12-05-2002 would have an issuance month of "200212".
The report is generated when the OK button is clicked on the Generate Food Instruments Redeemed Late Report screen. This report will also be generated as part of the month-end process.
An example of a food instruments that would be included on this report is a food instrument with the following values.
Redemption date of 12-02-2002
First-use-date of 09-29-2002, last-use-date of 10-29-2002
Issuance date of 200209
This report includes data for states that have daily feeds from their banking agent.
An example of when this would happen:
The participant, vendor and bank have 35 days from the last day-to-use value to complete the redemption process. It is possible that a participant could receive a food instrument with a first date to use late in the month (01-28), making the last date to use late in the next month (02-28). The bank is still obligated to make the payment, even though the issuance month is "closed" (expiration date would be 04-05).
This is a state report only.
Food instruments on this report are included in the issued values on the Obligation & Expenditure report for the corresponding issuance month. They are NOT included in the redeemed or de-obligated values. Food instruments on this report are included in the issued values on the Obligation Value for O/S FIs Issued report for the corresponding issuance month.
