The Summary Statistics Report - Breastfeeding (CLN032) is a summary of participant breastfeeding for the reported month. The report shows breastfeeding data for different age groups and whether or not the child"s mother was on WIC while pregnant with the child. The report is generated as part of the End of Month Processing when the MONTHEND_INCL_STATE_DEFINED_RPTS business rule is set to "Y". This is a Minnesota-only report.
This section describes the data elements that print on the system output. Because of space constraints, the layout may be slightly different and/or all characters may not print within the space allotted.
Origin of Data Element
During the End of Month Processing this is the CCYYMM value from the CurrentMonthEndDt column of the ProcessControl table.
Format
This is an accounting month and year formatted as Month Name CCYY.

When the INCLUDEGRANTEES business rule does not equal "Y" or the report is not defined as a grantee report, the selection criteria and information being reported determines this value as follows:
When reporting clinic data, the agency code, agency description, clinic code, and clinic description is printed.
When reporting agency data, the agency code and agency description is printed.
When reporting state data, the text description of "State Total" is printed.
When the INCLUDEGRANTEES business rule equals "Y" or the report is defined as a grantee report, the selection criteria and information being reported determines this value as follows:
When reporting clinic data, the grantee code, grantee description, the agency code, agency description, clinic code, and clinic description is printed.
When reporting agency data, the grantee code, grantee description, the agency code, and agency description is printed.
When reporting grantee data, the grantee code and grantee description is printed.
When reporting state data, the text description of "State Total" is printed.

This value is the count of selected participants that meet the following selection criteria:
The DateOfBirth column of the Member table plus 24 months is greater than the last day of the reported month.
If the EverBreastfed column of the Child table equals "Y", the participant is counted in the Yes total. If the value equals "N", the participant is counted in the No total. If the value equals "U", the participant is counted in the Unknown if Ever BF total. If the value is not one of the above, the participant is counted in the Incomplete total.

Participants are included in the counts if they are in a valid certification for the reported month and were considered participating for the reported month (either issued food instruments or fully breastfeeding). Data for hidden agencies will not be included.
Participants must meet the following selection criteria:
The WicStatus column of the CaseloadCountEnrollment table equals "I" or "C".
The ParticipationCYM column of the CaseloadCountEnrollment table equals the reported month.
The EnrolledThisMonth column of the CaseloadCountEnrollment table equals "Y".
The ProgramCode column of the CaseloadCountEnrollment table equals the WIC value.
The ParticipationCYM column of the CaseloadCount table equals the reported month.
The RptedThisMonth column of the CaseloadCount table equals "Y".
The ProgramCode column of the CaseloadCount table equals the WIC value.
If the INCLUDEGRANTEES business rule does not equal "Y" or the report is not defined as a grantee report, the report will be sorted by agency code then clinic code. The state summary will print at the end. If the INCLUDEGRANTEES business rule equals "Y"and the report is defined as a grantee report, the report will be sorted by grantee code, agency code then clinic code. The state summary will print at the end.
If the INCLUDEGRANTEES business rule does not equal "Y" or the report is not defined as a grantee report, a page break will occur on change in clinic/agency. If the INCLUDEGRANTEES business rule equals "Y" and the report is defined as a grantee report, a page break will occur on change in clinic/agency/grantee.
This report will automatically be generated during the month-end process when the MONTHEND_INCL_STATE_DEFINED_RPTS business rule is set to "Y".
Origin of Data Element
The following selection criteria determines if the participants mother was on WIC at least 3 months while pregnant with the participant.
The following determines which certification record to use. In the case of pseudo certifications, the minimum CertEffectiveDate is used and the maximum CertEndDate is used. If the certification has a value in the CertTermDate column, that value is used in place of the CertEndDate.
MotherStateWICID column of the Child table is not null
MotherStateWICID column of the Child table equals the StateWICID column of CertContact table
The CertWICStatus column of the CertContact table equals "P"
The CertEffectiveDate column of the CertContact table is less than the DateOfBirth column of the Member table

The following determines the number of days on WIC while pregnant
