The Participation by Priority/Category/Ethnicity Group Report CLD020 (Output) is count of participants who were issued a food instrument within the selected reporting period. The report is generated when the OK button is clicked on the Generate Participation by Priority/Category/Ethnicity Group Report screen.
The report is broken down by priority, WIC Category, and race/ethnicity code. The participants will be grouped under Indian, Hispanic, Black, White and Asian based upon their race/ethnicity code. If a participant has an unknown priority or a priority that is not valid for their category, the participant is included in the "Unknown" priority count.

When the value of the INCLUDEGRANTEES business rule equals "Y" and the system output is defined as a grantee report, the selection criteria and information being reported will determine this value as follows.
When reporting clinic data, the grantee code, grantee description, the agency code, agency description, clinic code and clinic description will be printed.
When reporting agency data, the grantee code, grantee description, the agency code and agency description will be printed.
When reporting grantee data, the grantee code and grantee description will be printed.
When reporting state data, the text description of "State Total" will be printed.
When the value of the INCLUDEGRANTEES business rule equals "N" or if the system output is not defined as a grantee report, the selection criteria and information being reported will determine this value as follows.
When reporting clinic data, the agency code, agency description, clinic code and clinic description will be printed.
When reporting agency data, the agency code and agency description will be printed.
When reporting state data, the text description of "State Total" will be printed.

This is a fifty-character text value. The format is determined by the information being reported.
Origin of Data Element
This value is the priority associated with the participants selected for this report. It comes from the Priority column of the CaseloadCount table. If a participant's priority value is unknown or is a value that is not valid for the WIC Category, the count is accumulated in the "UNKNOWN" priority. Valid priorities for each status are defined in the PriorityPerWICStatus table.

This is a one-character text column. The format is determined by the information being reported.

All WIC participants that received benefits are included in the report totals. Data for hidden agencies will not be included. Participants must meet the following selection criteria. Each participant is counted in the totals for one agency, clinic, priority, category and ethnic group.
RptedThisMonth column of the CaseloadCount table equals "Y"
ParticipationCYM column of the CaseloadCount table equals the reported month
ProgramCode column of the CaseloadCount table equals the WIC value
If an individual clinic is selected, only data for that clinic will be included. If an individual agency is selected, summary data for that agency will be included. If an individual grantee is selected, summary data for that grantee will be included. If the state is selected, summary data for the state level will be included. Data for hidden agencies will not be included.
The report will be sorted by priority code. Totals for Unknown priority will be printed last.
The report will be sorted by WIC Category code within priority. WIC Category will be printed in sequence of "I", "C", "P", "B" and "N".
Total lines will be printed for each priority. A page break will not occur on a change of priority.
A report total will print at the end of the report.
