The Breastfeeding Duration - Currently Breastfeeding (Healthy People Goals) Report OPR036 (Output) is an analysis of the duration of breastfeeding by race/ethnicity for participants who are currently breastfeeding with a birth date within the selected date range. The report is generated when the OK button is clicked on the Generate Breastfeeding Duration - Currently Breastfeeding Report screen and is also generated as part of the month-end process.
Enrolled participants are included in this report if the participant's date of birth is within the first day of the selected From month/year and the last day of the selected To month/year. The participant must be in a valid certification at the time the report is requested (current date). If the participant is currently breastfeeding, they are counted in the durations as of the date the report is requested (current date).
Participants with duration of less than one month are grouped into one of the durations (day) based upon their breastfeeding duration. Participants with duration of one month or more are grouped into each applicable durations (month) based upon their breastfeeding duration. For example, a participant with breastfeeding duration of 3 days is counted in the 2-4 day category while a participant with breastfeeding duration of 8 months and 5 days will be counted in the >= 1 Mo, >= 2 Mo, >= 3 Mo and >= 6 Mo categories.
Durations are:
1 day
2-4 days
5-7 days
8-30 days
>= 1 month
>= 2 months
>= 3 months
>=6 months
>= 12 months
The report also displays the counts by durations of participants fully breastfed, partially breastfed <= max and partially breastfed > max. These values are based on the amount breastfed at the point the report is requested. For instance, if breastfed amount is changed from fully breastfed to partially breastfed at the age of 6 1/2 months, the participant is considered partially breastfed for all duration categories.
