Breastfeeding Summary Report CAS016 (Output)

The Breastfeeding Summary Report CAS016 (Output) will allow the user to print a summary report of the number and percentage of infants who were breastfeeding during a specified time period. The report is generated when the OK button is clicked on the Generate Breastfeeding Summary Report screen.

Data Elements

This section describes the data elements that print on the system output. Because of space constraints, the layout may be slightly different and/or all characters may not print within the space allotted.

Report Title

The title of the report will be the text of "Breastfeeding Summary". A subtitle will indicate the county and state for which the page is reporting.

Origin of Data Element

For [month/year], and the state name for which the report was generated will be obtained.

Format

The value will appear as its literal value.

Agency

Origin of Data Element

This value comes from the AgencyID and Name columns of the AGENCY table.

Format

The values will print as their literal values.

Clinic

Origin of Data Element

This value comes from the ServiceSiteID and Name columns of the SERVICE-SITE table.

Format

The values will print as their literal values.

Total Number of Infants

Origin of Data Element

This column is calculated by counting the number of Infant WIC Category participants.

Format

This value is a six-digit number.

Number of Breastfed Infants

Origin of Data Element

This column is calculated by counting the number of Infant WIC Category participants who are currently breastfeeding.

Format

This value is a six-digit number.

Number of Infants Exclusively Breastfed

Origin of Data Element

This column is calculated by counting the number of Infant WIC Category participants who are currently exclusively breastfeeding.

Format

This value is a six-digit number.

Percentage of Breastfed Infants

Origin of Data Element

This column is calculated by dividing the number of breastfed infants by the total number of infants.

Format

The values will print as their literal values.

Percentage of Infants Exclusively Breastfed

Origin of Data Element

This column is calculated by dividing the number of exclusively breastfed infants by the total number of infants.

Format

The values will print as their literal values.

Percentage of Breastfed Infants Exclusively Breastfed

This column is calculated by dividing the number of exclusively breastfed infants by the number of breastfed infants.

Format

The values will print as their literal values.

Filter Criteria

Selected Clinic(s)

The breastfeeding summary information for all infants who belong to the user's current clinic site or the selected clinic site(s) is included on the report.

Sort Order

Clinic ID

The document will be sorted first by the Clinic ID.

Control Breaks

Clinic

On a change of clinic name, a page break will occur.
