Peer Group Recalculations

Business Rule: PEERGROUPRECALCULATIONS

A user can recalculate vendor prices for a single peer group on the Peer Group Average screen. Similarly, a user can recalculate prices for all Peer Groups in mass on the Peer Group Pricing screen. Recalculating prices for all peer groups in mass has benefits and draw backs. Recalculating in mass enables the user to complete the same process for each peer group in one action. However, mass recalculation requires that the system processes more information in one action and it can impact more data in one action (i.e. - the user did not intend to effect every peer group, but the result is that every peer group's pricing data may have changed).

The business rule enables the state to define whether mass Peer Group pricing recalculations are permitted.
