Date New Food Package Rules Are Implemented

The SPIRIT WIC system enables the state to define the date targeted for the implementation of the new Food Package rules. The date triggers a CPA Alert that warns the clinic staff that the participant does not have a food prescription created with an effective date occurring after the implementation date specified. If a food prescription exists with an effective date that occurs after the new Food Package rules are implemented, no alert is displayed.

The business rule enables the state to define the date targeted for the implementation of the new food package rules.
