Business Rule: DATASYNCINCLUDESEXTERNALID
The SPIRIT WIC system has the ability to synchronize the Data Sync Check-in process with an external system. Data Sync can acquire an external ID for each participant whose information was changed when an off-line computer is checked in. This is might be required in a case in which the state utilizes an external data source that stores information about other programs that WIC participants participate in, and the SPIRIT WIC system requires an external ID to access the participant's data in the external data source.
The business rule enables the state to define whether an external ID is required during the check-in process and directs Data Sync to acquire it as necessary.
