The following steps will be performed to determine the principle risk factor for the participant:
If Risk Factor 501 - Possibility of Regression is assigned to a participant, it becomes the principle risk factor. The system will then immediately proceed to identify the default food prescription.
The system will determine the Default Food Prescription (DFP) Priority and Total Milk Quantity for each risk factor assigned to the participant from the risk factor information stored in the Reference Dictionary table, using the WIC Category and age category for the participant. The following tables were extracted from the Reference Dictionary and may not reflect the current values:
Once the DFP Priority and Total Milk Quantity is determined for each risk factor assigned to the participant, the system will attempt to identify the risk factor with the highest DFP Priority. If more than one risk factor has the highest priority, the system will attempt to identify the risk factor with the highest priority and the largest Total Milk Quantity. The resulting risk factor is the principle risk factor.
